PANTS
At Pinfold Street, we use the NSPCC’s “Underwear Rule” campaign – also known as the PANTS campaign. It encourages children to talk and teaches them how to keep themselves safe.
We allocate a week each academic year to promote PANTS, which starts with an assembly at the beginning of the week. Each year group will work on an age appropriate task at a chosen time in class and we come back at the end of the week to share what we have learnt. 1 to 1 work may also be carried out with a pupil, if a safeguarding issue arises.
Information about PANTS is displayed around the school on our safeguarding information boards.
